I joined UC and Patro last month and received offers from two people. They were both very pleased, and we’ve already made plans to meet again.
However, when we met, they half-jokingly said that because they really liked me, they wouldn’t want to give me a high rating in case I received offers from other people.
Are there really people who like someone they’ve met so much that they intentionally give them a lower rating?
Honestly, I’d hate for my rating to go down. I’m in my 40s, so I never expected to receive any offers in the first place, and I’d like to cherish the people I’ve met.

As far as I know, there aren’t any men who intentionally leave bad reviews. However, there are quite a few men who deliberately choose not to leave a review, for exactly the reasons mentioned.
So I think you should just accept that this is how men can be sometimes. Also, it’s worth knowing that women with overly high ratings are actually avoided, so having an average rating is probably best.
Bad reviews can affect the offers you receive, but they’re usually for things like being late or canceling at the last minute.
In this case, it simply means he liked you that much, so I don’t think you should take it too negatively.

They may choose not to leave a rating, but I don’t think they often lie and give someone a bad one.
If you leave a poor rating, the club may contact you to confirm the details. And if you’re always giving bad ratings, you could end up being treated as a complainer.
Men generally benefit more from maintaining a good relationship with the club.

There may be some men who say that, but it doesn’t seem to be very common. The overall rating statistics clearly show that positive ratings far outnumber negative ones.
At Universe Club, your rating tends to improve as you go through more introductions, unless you’re obviously a bad person.
