I received a message through the club’s LINE account asking if I’d like to be introduced to male members via Telegram. There are a few things I’m unclear about, so I’d appreciate your advice.

I don’t think staff add notes to profiles all that often. For example, if someone makes personal plans after a date has been arranged and then cancels on the day, or if a male member reports information that differs from what was originally written in the profile. I’ve seen cases where that information was added. ※Presumably, the male member reported that the person had lied during their interview with the staff, so the profile was corrected. Whether it’s about a male or female member, I imagine negative notes are only added in particularly serious cases. I don’t think something like the examples above would result in an addition to the profile. I’m not part of the management, though…

For now, Fuu isn’t using Telegram. Every once in a while, I used to receive emails featuring recommended women with their faces hidden, so maybe once every six months at most? I figured this was probably something similar, so I’m just waiting to see how it goes for now. I get it! I think the club does need a strategy to increase offers for women who aren’t getting any, since there may be women out there who are like undiscovered gems. Women who don’t receive many offers should definitely give it a try. Personally, when I logged into the club to check out the recommended women I’d received by email in the past, I often found myself thinking, “This person is recommended?” Since the club staff don’t do papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan), I guess they can’t really know what appeals to us. In the end, everyone has different preferences, but maybe it’s more fun to search on your own instead of relying on someone else—and discover your own hidden gems.

I’m not directly involved, so I don’t know the details, but based on the materials, it seems they separately introduce certain women to male members—for example, women who are highly educated or have attractive figures, but who might otherwise be overlooked and buried if they were simply listed on the member page. They might say something like, “She’s highly educated—what do you think?” rather than just featuring her on the member page. As for using Telegram, my guess is that they may consider LINE or email risky because if photos have been sent, those photos would remain in the chat even after the woman leaves the club. I don’t know whether they actually send photos, but choosing Telegram makes me wonder if they might be sending them as well. (This is only my personal speculation.) So, although it certainly sounds suspicious, accepting may be worth considering if you’re open to the possibility of receiving more offers. If it feels too shady and you’re uncomfortable, I think it’s perfectly fine to decline. > If I turn this down, will the club write anything in the comments about me? They won’t write anything, so I don’t think you need to worry.

I got the Telegram invitation too. I just signed up and checked it out. Women from Universe Club are introduced with one photo and a brief description highlighting things like “what makes her recommendable”—details that aren’t included in their Universe Club profiles. I assume only women who have agreed to it are being featured. When I checked just now, there were only a handful of women listed, so it seems like the system only introduces women who have given their consent.
