I was curious, so I looked into it. Antibiotics are taken after an infection has been established (which can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks), once the specific infection has been identified and an antibiotic thought to be effective against it has been selected.
Preventive medication is generally not very effective, and the drawbacks—such as the risk of antibiotic-resistant bacteria—likely outweigh the benefits.
At present, preventive antibiotics are used for endocarditis, but generally not for other conditions. They should only be taken under the supervision of a specialist.
I seem to remember having unprotected sex with more than five women at the first meeting about two years ago, but since the beginning of this year, it’s only happened once.
I take Zithromax after being intimate with a woman I’ve just met—of course after unprotected sex, but also after oral sex and kissing. I do this on the recommendation of an acquaintance who’s a doctor.
It was the women who wanted to have unprotected sex, not me. I just couldn’t bring myself to say no.

I think what Make-Do Man wanted people to focus on probably wasn’t that part—he just wanted to brag about “doing it raw.” But was he really just oblivious to the mood, or was that deliberately clueless-looking comeback because he’d read the situation that far?
As for preventive medication, I only take valacyclovir every day—not to prevent recurrences, but to prevent infection. Chlamydia can be cured with medication even after you catch it, but genital herpes can’t be cured once you have it. If you’re going to do it raw, I think you should take HIV prevention medication too, Make-Do Man.
Incidentally, this person has posted 23 questions in the past. Around June 2022, he posted a ridiculous number in succession. At one point, he pretended to be a “female member in her 20s at Universe Club,” but people saw through him from his writing style and gave him a talking-to.

I’m fine with using condoms during intimacy and even with women putting on an act, but when it comes to questions, I’d prefer the real thing—something genuine and unfiltered. Not pseudo-questions, like pseudo-romance. Fake bait isn’t tasty at all.
Taro-san’s comparison to “a strip club in Atami that’s not popular at all but has a huge amount of pride” was spot-on and really made me laugh, though.
