I’m a man in my 60s who’s been a member for two and a half years, still trying to find my way.

By coincidence, I came across “Eight Rules for Men with a Success Rate of Over 70%,” written by Kii Kamiya from the Okinawa branch on the staff blog.
As someone who actually follows those guidelines, I can say they’re absolutely spot-on.
For me, I’d add that it helps to have a wide range of experiences to draw on as conversation topics...

I’ve been a member for two and a half years, and I’m a lost 60-something.
My first offer was to a Type B woman. We started seeing each other on our second date, which turned into an overnight date.
I prefer to spend the first meeting getting to know someone and enjoying the conversation, so I almost always make offers to Type B women. Limiting it to Type B, I’ve met more than 20 women by my rough count.
Among the Type B women, only about four have said goodbye while we were still at the dinner stage… One turned out to be secretly looking for an adult relationship right from the first date, so that was a no-go. I went on three dates with another, but we ended things because our financial terms didn’t match. I failed to make a successful approach with another on the third date, and with the last one, I discovered on the fourth date that she was secretly looking for an adult relationship! lol
There was also one person I turned down myself after the first meeting… lol
So, with everyone else, things developed into an arrangement by the second date. Would you say my goodbye rate is around 20%?
