I may be mentally struggling. Every day, I’m overwhelmed by stress from declining company sales, succession issues, a lack of personnel, cost-cutting, caring for family members, and living separately from my wife. The person who supported me when I felt crushed by loneliness and stress was a woman in her 30s. She was beautiful, intelligent, and surrounded by a Madonna-like kindness. Perhaps I took advantage of her kindness and used her as an outlet for my needs.
I think I’m a terrible man. That said, although I can’t disclose the amount, she has received quite a bit in compensation over the past year. I believe she has received sufficient financial compensation.
I’m still struggling, but she continues to present herself beautifully as a female club member, as if nothing ever happened. Women are strong.
She’s inviting new partners with a completely unaffected expression.
I guess it’s a game. I wonder if I could join too—in the virtual romance game...

Though in the questioner’s case, it wasn’t really a romantic relationship to begin with.
Given how badly the previous questioner treated her, of course she’d keep it transactional. In that situation, there’s no real potential for it to develop into anything beyond ordinary papa-katsu.
If I were Fuu, I’d date someone here because I genuinely liked her as a person—I’d value and respect her. I’d pay close attention to who she is and make sure I didn’t become a burden to her…

Isn’t that just like the governor who’s currently in the news over allegations of workplace bullying?
If you’ve truly connected emotionally, the woman will start thinking of the man’s money almost like it’s her own, so she won’t make him spend unnecessarily.
But if she dislikes him and sees it as compensation for putting up with him, she’ll keep taking money from him indefinitely. There’s no upper limit, because she won’t feel that any of it is being wasted…

“I wonder if I can get in too?” is kind of debatable as a question. It feels more like they’re asking themselves rather than seeking an answer from others.
This also seems like it might be grounds for deletion, but what do you think?
