This is my first time asking a question!

I think this applies to every industry: the world looks different from the outside than it does from within. Just because someone loves food doesn’t mean they’ll be able to cook something delicious. It’s like asking whether someone who loves adult entertainment could be put in charge of an adult entertainment establishment. I know a guy who loved lingerie so much that he started a service auctioning off girls’ worn underwear on DMM. Apparently, he eventually grew so sick of it that he couldn’t even stand looking at lingerie anymore. Once you get involved, you might end up hating papa-katsu. You might think the ideal person would be someone who feels motivated whenever a papa (a male supporter) and a girl are matched, going, “Yes!” But surprisingly, people like that can come across as pushy. Don’t arbitrarily decide, “This girl is perfect for you.” I have my own preferences too. Maybe someone who can simply carry out the work without imposing their personal opinions would be best. But then you might start wondering where the sense of fulfillment in this job is supposed to come from. If I had to name one thing, perhaps it’s observing people. Someone who can enjoy watching the messy clash between sexual and financial desires might be suited to the job. At the very least, anyone who feels disgust toward that would probably find the work stressful. It might be similar to caring for elderly people. Elderly people can be difficult, regardless of gender, but someone who can still think, “Grandpa and Grandma are adorable,” quirks and all, might be well suited to it. Are you looking to change jobs because you dislike your current one? Or are you not working at the moment? You’ve apparently had around three papas and happened to find a good one, but if you find the world of papa-katsu interesting and want to explore it further, I think you should do more papa-katsu yourself. Being self-employed is definitely more interesting and enjoyable.

We used to hire mid-career employees, but we no longer do. We only hire new graduates now. That said, we sometimes recruit part-time workers when an employee leaves, in order to cover the staff shortage until the next group of new graduates joins us. So if you keep checking job listing sites regularly, you might get lucky and find an opening. Additional note after reading Kazu’s answer: Why not start your own dating club? Another option would be to become a PATOLO member club. Starting a dating club from scratch is difficult because you have to attract both men and women. With PATOLO, however, you can start a club simply by focusing on recruiting whichever side you’re good at—women only, or men only. That’s because even if you recruit only women, they can receive offers from PATOLO men. Likewise, if you recruit only men, they can make offers to PATOLO women.

They do seem to hire mid-career employees, but there’s apparently a rule prohibiting staff from becoming involved with members in that way. So while it might be possible at another club, I don’t think a member of Universe Club could become a staff member. I know of several dating clubs started by women who were previously registered with dating clubs themselves. If you’re that interested, why not start your own dating club?
