I’ve always understood “bad-luck woman” to mean a woman whose partner’s work and personal life become halfhearted after dating her, causing his luck to decline. Maybe it means the quality of the person gradually deteriorates, too.
Conversely, I think a “good-luck woman” is someone with a welcoming, power-spot kind of presence—like a lucky cat. Even when she goes to an empty convenience store or café, people somehow start gathering there. She’s a woman who can give men emotional energy in many different ways.
It’s not only intimacy that gives someone a boost.
