I have a question about appearance and grooming for the interview.

If you’re naturally cute or attractive, there’s no problem with wearing very little makeup. In this setting, what matters is looking attractive to men, so I think makeup is simply a way to achieve that. If you can create a neat, innocent, girl-next-door image with almost no makeup, you might even get offers because of it. That said, looking clean and well-groomed is important… You can mention at the interview that your workplace doesn’t allow manicures, and it should be fine to go without nail polish. Men generally don’t care nearly as much about nails as women think they do. If anything, when they’re too long, they can just get in the way during an adult relationship—you worry they might break, lol.

Most people who use dating clubs are older men. That’s why I think the ideal look is the kind of outfit you’d wear to a job interview. In other words, a flashy or heavily made-up look will often work against you, while a natural look is more likely to work in your favor. You’ll have better results with everything if you understand your target audience and approach things accordingly.

I don’t think it’s a good idea for your makeup at the interview to be different from your makeup when you actually meet. As for nail polish, you can simply say that it isn’t allowed at your workplace. Personally, I don’t care whether someone is wearing nail polish or not.
