When I check the patolo website, the only affiliated clubs listed are Salon and Universe. Are there any other dating clubs whose membership has already been approved?

As I recall, Panasonic was also very active with Micro Four Thirds, but it was unfortunate that manufacturers differed on whether to use lens-based or in-body image stabilization.
The dating club division of a certain app keeps aggressively soliciting me, but I decided not to join because they keep lowering their prices and there are so many false claims in their advertising.

I’m no longer involved, so I’m not sure about the details, but initially I heard that it was the app’s dating club division that would be participating. So I doubt the app itself is involved.
That said, just like with cameras, there are companies that participate whenever a new mount is introduced, just to be safe.
They may join as a precaution and wait to see how things develop. If it doesn’t seem likely to gain much traction, they might simply leave it at that.
For example, with the Four Thirds mount, the idea was that it was inconvenient for each manufacturer to use a different mount, so they should create a standardized mount. That way, the same lenses could be used with cameras from any manufacturer, making things more convenient.
The idea was promoted widely to various companies, but the mount itself eventually came to an end.
The manufacturers that apparently responded to the invitation included:
- Olympus
- Kodak
- Fujifilm
- Sanyo Electric
- Sigma
- Panasonic
- Leica Camera AG
However, I don’t think any of them besides Olympus were particularly proactive.

At present, around 12 clubs have confirmed their participation. Some people have also learned about patolo and decided to enter the dating club industry.
As for the specific club names, we’re currently creating a page on our website listing our partner clubs. Please check there once it’s available.

As I mentioned above, apparently more than a dozen venues have already signed on. I also heard that one of the major apps is participating.
That’s just what I’ve heard, so I may have misunderstood. It could just be a rumor, though.
