The woman I’m seeing is the queen of anime songs, so I really wanted to hear her sing at least once and asked her out on a karaoke date.
Wow—I was honestly mesmerized.
I got absolutely crushed in our scoring battle too, haha.
A typical date is obviously delicious food and a hotel, right?
But wouldn’t it get boring if every date followed the same pattern?
That’s why I always ask what my companion wants to do, discuss it with her, and plan all kinds of dates. Of course, I ask what kind of food she wants too.
We’ve done everything from meat kappo to Daikichi yakitori.
Exploring local B-grade gourmet spots is fun too.
We travel together as well!
Sports are fun too, aren’t they?
The other day, there was a ping-pong table at the hotel, but we ran out of time and couldn’t play, which I still regret.
I’ll book the same hotel again, so wait for me!
I’m also planning to get her started playing golf this spring!
That’s just my personal take on why being in an arrangement can be fun.
I don’t think just having a meal can really be called a date.
Karaoke is a classic—somewhat predictable, but still a date.
Even if it’s dinner only (no intimacy), I think it counts as a date if you go to a second or third place to find a delicious restaurant or somewhere you’ve been wanting to try—or even travel a bit farther to visit a great restaurant. You’re doing something together, after all.
Generally, the most common papa-katsu dates are probably meals or going to a hotel.
Since the date is usually different every time, I’ve only gone karaoke with my papa once. I’m really into score attacks, though, so I get completely absorbed in battling it out with DAM, which probably isn’t very fun for him lol.
My dates with my papa have included an aquarium, a glass-blowing experience, a rabbit park, watching movies at a hotel, playing board games at a hotel, arm wrestling, using the horizontal bar, fishing, walking around in the mountains, going for drives, looking for shops in shopping streets, and exploring hotels.
We’re currently planning to try bouldering, SUP, canoeing, going to the cinema, a flower-and-bird park, tennis, gaming, and birdwatching.
Of course, all of these activities take a really long time, so they probably aren’t suitable if you’re looking for a prostitution-style arrangement or strictly transactional papa-katsu. We have so much fun that even after spending nearly 12 hours together, we want to see each other again right away lol.
Why are there only 24 hours in a day...?
That’s also what motivates me to work hard until our next date. It may be a little different from typical papa-katsu, but I don’t think there’s anything more fulfilling than a relationship where money isn’t everything, so I’m very happy with it.
Though, of course, this only applies when you have a good papa.
Just my personal opinion and experience.
When I first started using a dating club, I went out once, but it’s something I’d rather forget.
Movies and karaoke naturally take up a lot of time, so I don’t think they’re a good idea with women who care about value for money or how long they’ll be tied up.
Until you become quite close, the usual arrangement is dinner followed by a hotel.
I don’t go myself, but I’ve heard both men and women mention going to karaoke, so I imagine it’s fairly common. Come to think of it, I have gone once after a woman invited me to karaoke.
I think the most typical date is going out for something good to eat. Personally, lately I’ve often been golfing with women.
