About 90% of the women I date have had full-body hair removal, and I’m always impressed by how beauty-conscious they are.
I signed up for an eight-session full-body course, but it was excruciating, so I’ve only gone once.
Do I just have to grit my teeth and endure the pain?
I’d love to hear about the experiences of anyone who’s had hair removal.

I’ve had full-body hair removal, and you just have to put up with it for the sake of beauty. If you ask them to apply a numbing cream like lidocaine, you should be fine.

I don’t remove any body hair at all.
When I told the woman I’m seeing, “It’s okay if you want to get hair removal,” she said, “If something happened and someone happened to see it, they might get suspicious, so it’s probably better not to.”
So I leave it completely natural—full-on bush and all（笑）
It’s strange how, as you get older, the hair on your head gets thinner while the hair in all the unnecessary places gets thicker.

More than 20 years ago, I had my underarms treated, and it was so painful.
The kind of pain that really makes you go, “Ugh!”
And they just kept repeating it over and over.
Compared to that, treatments these days are much easier. I’m not good with pain either, so I use a topical anesthetic and take an over-the-counter painkiller 30 minutes before the treatment.
I’m not sure how effective it actually is, but it helps ease the fear I feel when I don’t take one, so I always do.

I had my VIO hair removed.
It was painful, but I was able to tolerate it. If you keep telling yourself you’re doing it to look good, I think you can get through it.
Once you get older and the hair turns gray, the treatment may stop working, so if you’re going to do it, don’t put it off.
The sooner you do it, the better—otherwise, it’ll turn gray before you know it!

After hearing that Kazu was doing it, I started full-body IPL hair removal too.
It’s really good. Even after two months, my leg hair is still much thinner. I’m thinking of continuing for about two years—I recommend it.
I have them turn the power down as low as I can tolerate. Even so, I’m definitely seeing results.
I’m getting hair removal myself, but personally, I find women with lots of body hair more attractive and exciting. I’ve even asked my partner not to shave her legs.

I’m getting full-body medical hair removal.
By far, the beard area is the most painful. Apparently, not many people can tolerate that level of pain, so a lot of people get full-body hair removal excluding the beard.
My job is basically male escorting, so looking clean is essential, and I get my beard treated too—but even with numbing cream, it hurts so much I nearly lose my mind. VIO is fine without anesthesia.
That said, just because it’s painful, I wouldn’t recommend going to a salon instead. Unless your hair is already quite thin, it’s barely effective.
You should absolutely get full-body hair removal. It makes you look much cleaner, and it also reduces odors around areas like your armpits and groin. The difference in armpit odor is especially noticeable.
By the way, the major clinics are all painful because they use older equipment. Try looking for a newly opened cosmetic clinic yourself, and check when their hair-removal device was released and what type it is.
The clinic I go to only recently opened, so the treatment is relatively less painful. That said, the beard area still hurts enough to make you jump.

I’ve heard that women are better able to tolerate pain because they go through childbirth and all that.
I only asked for anesthesia for my VI area.
The other areas weren’t as painful as I expected.
I actually find myself wondering why I didn’t do it sooner!

I’ve had laser hair removal abroad a few times.
It was definitely painful, but I kept going back. After I returned home, it became difficult to get there, so I started going to an IPL hair-removal salon recommended by someone I know. They took proper precautions, so it wasn’t particularly painful.
Apparently, the level of pain varies depending on the type of hair-removal machine, the intensity, and the salon’s precautions, as well as your skin tone and hair thickness.
Why not try trial sessions at a few different salons, including IPL salons, and find one that suits you?
