Every man says he’d want to be a man again if he were reincarnated. I’m perfectly happy staying a woman. Because I’m a woman, I can easily make hundreds of thousands of yen a month through papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan), and even though I’m only 20, I’ve already saved over 10 million yen. Dates and eating out are basically free, I’m constantly complimented on my looks, which does wonders for my self-esteem, and I’m surrounded by a kind boyfriend and kind papa supporters (male supporters), so I’m enjoying life.
By contrast, unless a man is naturally good-looking, he can’t really become handsome. Cosmetic surgery is also difficult because of social attitudes, and he won’t look attractive unless he works out. Basically, he won’t be popular unless he’s highly educated, tall, and well-paid. He has to pay for girls, and generally has to work for the rest of his life. I can’t help wondering what’s so enjoyable about being a man.
Papa supporters probably won’t get any attention unless they pay, either, so I’m honestly really glad I wasn’t born a man! Being a woman is the best!
To all the PJ girls out there, would you still want to be a woman if you were reincarnated?
And to the papa supporters: if you were reincarnated, which do you think would make for a more enjoyable life—being a man or a woman?

I’m enjoying it. I have no intention of being reincarnated, so I plan to live this life without regrets.
Also, you may think I’m making money the easy way, but if someone else tried to do the same, it would probably be difficult. I’m sure I’ve put in the effort required and worked hard for it.
I also started my own business relatively early, and because I didn’t want people to see me looking uncool, I initially tried to present myself as better than I really was. That attracted a lot of envy, too.
I genuinely enjoy my work and always have, so in a way, you could say I make money more easily than other people. But I’ve never felt that I’ve had it particularly easy, nor do I feel that way now.
You may be dealing with some kind of stress yourself, so please don’t push yourself too hard.
That’s the kind of situation where I’ll also respond kindly.

I think the most important thing is being able to enjoy your life, so if that’s working for you, that’s great.
That said, it would be wiser not to start looking down on men or thinking, “What’s so fun about that?” just because of it.
If all you have going for you is your youth and cuteness, the happiness you imagine won’t last on a mere ¥10 million. So if you can use this time to build skills and the ability to earn money on your own, you’ll be in the strongest position.
Personally, I’d rather be a woman too. The happiness and social standing unique to women can both be achieved if you work for them. Even while rushing around with family and childcare, I’ve studied and worked so hard I felt like I was about to collapse—and I see that as a blessing and a deeply fulfilling kind of happiness.
Of course, when I was younger, my job exposed me to prejudice and discrimination. But as I earned people’s trust and continued learning, those things gradually faded or stopped bothering me.

I have a friend who was born female but is attracted to women. They’re incredibly handsome, too. They underwent surgery for the woman they were dating, and the two of them got married. Their journey was incredibly difficult and painful.
As Mac-san said, I feel that sexual minorities whose minds and bodies don’t align truly have a hard time. Even so, I have tremendous respect for my friend for pursuing their happiness(^^)
I hope you’re able to recognize what you have right now and find happiness in it.

Since the 1990s, the number of women answering, “I’d want to be a woman if I were reincarnated,” has been steadily increasing.

But times have changed, and the gender gap is gradually narrowing. Intelligent women can now express their individuality freely without being exploited by men.
That’s why many women think, “I’d want to be a woman again.” Of course, I’d want to be a woman again too.
Though that’s assuming I’m lucky enough to be reincarnated as a human… If I’m doing papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) in this life, I feel like the best I could hope for in my next life would be becoming an ant or a stray dog.

I’m sure men have their own ways of enjoying life, but I don’t know what those are, so for now, I’d still rather be a woman. That said, I do think men have it harder in some ways.
Still, cute girls who know how to handle themselves seem to get everything to work out, don’t they? I kind of understand what you’re trying to say. I’m not especially good at navigating life either, but I’m still enjoying it plenty!

I can definitely see myself wanting to be a woman in my next life too.
Even if a woman has traditionally masculine interests, like sports or watching races, people still see her as “an interesting girl who’s easy to talk to.” But when a man has traditionally feminine interests, like beauty or sewing, he’s still sadly treated as a curiosity…
All things considered, I’ve had a pretty happy life too, so if I were reincarnated, I’d want to be born as myself again.
If I had to pick one thing to change, though, I’d probably want to be taller（笑）

As for your question, I think it depends on the individual.
You probably feel that way because things are going well for you right now—but what if the situation were reversed? If nothing you did worked out, and in the midst of that you saw or heard about a man with plenty of money to spend freely, you might find yourself wishing you could become someone like him.

→ I think that depends on where you direct your focus. Just as people have all kinds of hobbies, some people consider their work their hobby; for others, seeing their ideas succeed brings them trust and money; and some enjoy being able to spend their money freely without having to worry about anyone else. There are all sorts of reasons.
Apparently, there are even some people in the unusual position of wanting to be financially supported by someone else...

I sometimes think it would’ve been better to be a woman, since women can enjoy both the pleasures of being female and a career just like men do.
But honestly, I’m glad I’m a woman because I feel like sex is definitely more pleasurable for women.

Rather than being reborn as a man, I’d want to be reborn as myself again.
I’ve lived such an exciting and blessed life that I can honestly say wanting anything more would just be pure greed. I have no regrets about my life.
If I had the chance to become Shohei Ohtani, though, I’d probably take it lol.

Since you can’t choose your gender partway through life, there’s no point dwelling on it.
I don’t believe in reincarnation, either. People die and return to the earth.
