I recently had an interview (I’m a woman). They didn’t say whether I was accepted or rejected—we only discussed what would happen going forward. Will they contact me even if I’m not accepted?

Maezawa here. In most cases, they won’t tell you on the spot whether you’ve been accepted or rejected. If the staff member who interviewed you thinks you’re not a fit, you’ll usually be rejected. However, on rare occasions, another staff member may say, “Wouldn’t it be okay to accept her?” If they were on the borderline, they may end up being accepted. But that really is rare. I’m not sure what you mean by “they only talked about what happens next,” but if you filled out the profile form as usual and they also took your photos and video, they generally contact you within a week if you’ve been accepted. So if it hasn’t been a week yet, please wait a little longer. If you still haven’t heard anything after a week, there’s a good chance you weren’t accepted. However, it’s also possible they’re unable to contact you due to some issue, so just to be safe, please contact the branch directly. If you’re accepted, you’ll receive instructions for accessing your member page.
