I want a warm relationship where the other person feels cared for. I feel sorry that I’ve made them put up with so many frustrations. It seems that, whether through money or not, you have to express your gratitude more generously than you think for it to truly get through to the other person. It’s difficult, but enjoyable. How do you show your appreciation in ways other than money?

I think it’s their generosity (*^^*) When my migraine was really bad and I couldn’t do things as planned, I felt so relieved when he kindly understood and forgave me!

> I’m sorry for making you carry so many frustrations. You poor thing. It’s not good that you’ve left them with so many unresolved frustrations. If increasing the allowance might help resolve things, perhaps try raising it. That may ease some of their dissatisfaction.

This is from a man’s perspective, so my answer may not quite fit the question, but I have senior acquaintances around me who are like the person Seattle-san described, and I hope to be that kind of person too. They’re genuinely very generous to me, including financially. A lot of the people I deal with for work are in their 50s to 80s, and lately I’ve been thinking more and more about how thin the line is between lecturing someone and offering guidance and encouragement.

An allowance that’s more than what they asked for. Naturally. You mentioned something other than money, but since this is a dating club, isn’t that still the main point? If you want a more idealistic answer, I think consideration for the other person comes back to you in return. Cleanliness and making an effort with your appearance are important too. I don’t think women would have many complaints about someone who thinks the way you do. I think women become dissatisfied when men have the attitude of, “I’m paying for this, so…”

At the end of the day, the amount of money matters most. On top of that, don’t brag or lecture. Always smile, speak humbly, and compliment the other person. Chew Mintia to keep your breath fresh, use plenty of anti-aging odor spray, and pay attention to the smell of your scalp, too. If I’m still healthy and energetic, I’d like to become that kind of person in my 70s.
