I made the offer after getting a feel for her as a person, so there’s no problem there. But I do think going on a trip together might be difficult.
That said, I once went strawberry picking with her and her fifth-grade daughter—we got along well, the three of us. I told her daughter I was “her mom’s friend who gives us rides.”

Whether she’s a single mother or an office worker, papas make offers because they find her attractive. I don’t think anyone makes an offer out of sympathy.

I’m also dating a single mother, but it’s not out of sympathy.
I do make donations, but only to causes I’ve personally considered and chosen. It doesn’t seem like I particularly enjoy donating.
