It’s all about market principles—supply and demand.
If all the older guys were handsome and young women had sex with them for free, this whole papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) system wouldn’t exist.

I’m not going to argue with that.
If I’m creepy, maybe I should aim to be the kind of creepy guy people don’t hate.
A lot of the women at Universe Club are willing to put my flaws into words and tell me about them honestly. At my age, no one besides family points these things out anymore, so I’m truly grateful. The allowance is my tuition.
You can pay for sex by going to a hostess club or similar establishment. But you can’t buy honest criticism of yourself with money. All I can feel is gratitude.
Even someone as flawed as me has things no one else can beat me at. I don’t need everyone to know what they are. It’s enough if I know—and if the people I care about know.
