As for whether it can be deleted, data deletion is carried out in accordance with Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information. As for other information, such as date records, I can’t say at this point whether it can or cannot be deleted.
I think it would be better to make a request only if you actually find yourself in a situation where deletion is necessary.
That said, when the request comes through a lawyer, there is no legal basis requiring disclosure, so it does not have to be disclosed. Requests for disclosure from a bar association do have a legal basis, but considering that the Supreme Court has ruled:
“Refusing to report in response to an Article 23 inquiry does not constitute a tort against the bar association that made the inquiry, on the grounds that it infringes upon a legally protected interest of that bar association.”
Unless the information is something that Universe itself would feel it should disclose—although in civil cases, I don’t think things are usually that one-sided—I believe they generally would not disclose it.
As for disclosure requests from a court, there appear to be procedures for requesting disclosure of assets and so on after a judgment has been issued, but I couldn’t find anything about requests for disclosure of dating records.
So I don’t think such requests are very common.
I’m not quite sure what exactly you’re worried about, but in a civil case, the information generally won’t be disclosed, so I don’t think you need to be overly concerned.
In a criminal case, if a formal request for disclosure is received, I think there’s a high chance they would comply. If the police were serious about obtaining the information, they could get a warrant and conduct a search if the company refused to disclose it, so it would be strange for them to choose not to cooperate.
Also, even if the data had been deleted, in a case such as murder, they would probably go as far as recovering the deleted data.

If you’re married and involved with a club, what really matters is whether you’re always prepared to say, even if you happen to run into your spouse during a date:
“No, this has nothing to do with club activities.”
Even if the data is deleted, the suspicion won’t disappear even a millimeter.

You should build a trusting relationship with the club staff on a regular basis, so they’ll be more likely to help you if something happens.
And you should treat your spouse well every day, so things don’t escalate into a legal matter.
If your spouse already suspects something, they’ve probably checked your entire history on this Q&A site.
Worrying about whether you can delete your activity history while leaving evidence yourself in the Q&A box is incredibly careless.
If they disclosed personal information every time they received nothing more than an inquiry request, it would never end.
If Universe Club were ever raided by the police for some kind of illegal activity, all the personal information would be taken, so I can only sincerely hope that never happens, haha.
There is absolutely no situation in a civil dispute where Universe Club would have to disclose your personal information to a third party. Even if ordered by a court, they can ignore it.
Private companies can also refuse to disclose personal information in response to an inquiry from the police. Whether to cooperate is entirely up to the company.
The only investigation they cannot refuse is one conducted by the tax office.
