Pierre Marcolini, La Maison du Chocolat, and other famous chocolatiers are pretty much guaranteed to be a safe bet. Some afternoon tea spots also hold chocolate fairs, which would be lovely too!

This is just my personal opinion, but if I were meeting someone on a Saturday afternoon and he had bought me a fruit chocolate tablet from Jean-Charles Rochoux that morning, I’d think, “Wow, this guy is amazing!”
