I’ve worn Kanematsu shoes for about 25 years, ever since I was in college. There are two lasts that fit me perfectly, so I can buy them without trying them on—and I can even run in 8-cm stilettos. My wallet is an Italian leather trifold wallet sold at Wako, and I keep buying the same one. Other than that, I’m not particular. Regardless of the brand or current trends, I just use whatever I like. Marika

I’m generally not very familiar with designer brands, but when it comes to shoes, I wear John Lobb. Since they were made to order, they cost around ¥600,000. I have two pairs and have been wearing them for 15 years while having them maintained—lol.

I’m Shingo Lee (Shingori), a columnist. I use Loewe and Maison Margiela wallets. For accessories like hats, I go with Prada, and I also wear Louis Vuitton accessories. I’m obsessed with Rick Owens, so I pair Rick Owens shoes with Rick Owens pants. For everything else, I mix in reasonably priced mid-range pieces from GU, ZARA, and similar brands—usually around ¥10,000 for items like T-shirts. I try not to wear Uniqlo because I don’t like the “Uniqlo giveaway.” Knitwear and T-shirts can end up looking a little too obvious and generic.

I’m Aya, a female member. I genuinely have no interest in brands. I’ve loved affordable fashion since I was a student, so I’ve saved an unbelievable amount of money… Though sometimes I do wonder if that’s really something to be proud of. The downside was that, until I started papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan)—and for quite a while after I began—I looked incredibly plain. I’m embarrassed just looking at old photos. I’m a little more put-together now. I wear the Rolex and Cartier watches my papa (a male supporter) gave me to work, and I’ll even carry my Miu Miu bag when I’m just going to the convenience store or doing errands nearby. My work bag is from Tofu & Loadstone. It’s comfortable because it holds a lot and has a compartment for my laptop. But fundamentally, I’m still not interested in brands. I still buy clothes from places like GRL for around ¥1,500. Recently, I found a CELFORD coat on sale for ¥30,000, and I was so excited I couldn’t sleep. Thanks to that, my papa even complimented me for some reason, saying, “You’re really sensible.”

I’m Rin, a female member of SALON. I don’t have any particular preferences when it comes to shoes—I just wear whatever is comfortable. I’m not picky about brands. I usually use a Louis Vuitton Neverfull as my everyday bag. I carry a lot for work, so it’s very practical. I think I’ve had it for about ten years. Most of the bags I own are Louis Vuitton, and my wallet is Louis Vuitton too. My favorite accessories are my Chanel earrings, which I wear often. I don’t wear rings. Right now, I’d love to get Van Cleef & Arpels Alhambra pieces and complete my entire jewelry collection with them. What do you mean by “goods”?! The only brand I consistently buy for specific products is Jo Malone—I use their body wash, body cream, and hand cream.

I’ve only ever owned knockoffs of Hermès, Chanel, Vuitton, and the like. I was so clueless that I didn’t even know about “Van Cleef” until I saw it mentioned in this Q&A box (>_<) I wear Regal shoes and clothes from Aoyama. My underwear is from UNIQLO, and I drive a Japanese car. Looks-wise, I’m a run-down version of Muneo Suzuki, but with my Regal-and-Aoyama combo, I’ve gotten the green light for an adult relationship (intimate) from every Type B woman. Even when I offer ¥50,000 on a pay-per-meeting basis, I’ve never been turned down for some reason. I’m only handsome when it comes to conversation, after all. *In the room, I always give them ¥100,000 or more.* I’m truly blessed. (ノ_ _)ノ P.S. I wonder why people who get irritated by my answers keep reading them, even though they know they’ll get irritated… Strange. They should just ignore me completely.
