For many years, dating was basically a hobby of mine.
When I had my profile public, writing about the details of my dates apparently made it come across as a genuine hobby.

I don’t separate work from my hobbies, so work is basically a hobby to me.
Sleeping can be a hobby, everyday meals can be a hobby, and even taking a bath can be a hobby. If you consider something a hobby, then couldn’t anything become one?
What I do here is a hobby too.

So in that case, I get the feeling that dating might be your hobby.

If we define hobbies as things you enjoy and get excited about—things you’d make time for no matter what—then:
In the past: kimono dressing and cooking
Now: golf, plus watching and supporting sports (half of which is work)
That said, I can’t stop thinking about various aspects of my main job, so perhaps work itself could count as a hobby too.
Communication is everything to me, and so are knowledge and skills, so I’m always checking research data, academic papers, and the latest topics. I probably spend the most time on that.
Writing this made me realize that I enjoy almost everything in my life as if it were a hobby.

I don’t have any hobbies either. The novelist Ryu Murakami once said something along the lines of, “Hobbies don’t really exist; all we have is a way to kill time.” That pretty much describes me.
I’ve never really been into going out or having fun. I’m either working, resting, investing, or sleeping. I like watching my money grow, so I generally don’t spend much, and I don’t have any favorite celebrities or idols. I probably wouldn’t travel either if my papa (a male supporter) didn’t invite me. In a good way, life is just one grand way to pass the time.

That’s why I don’t need any hobbies.
People often tell me that I look happiest and that my eyes light up the most when I’m working on my business—and I feel the same way.
I genuinely enjoy my work, so compared to that, sex might not bring me quite as much pleasure.
That said, I do enjoy going for drives or meals with the women I’m seeing.
So I may lean more toward non-adult dates.
