Well, there’s no need to rush, lol. I do feel like things could get bad if they stay this way, but since she’s making money through papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan), she’ll probably just keep going as she is, right? lol

Working for money. Doing papa-katsu for money. Those are valid reasons, but when money becomes the only reason, you start allowing yourself to put up with things just for the money.
Why not try doing something without making money the reason? Looking for a job from that perspective is one option too.
People often talk about making a contribution to society, right? Basically, if you look at it in terms of interacting with people and building connections, there’s nothing wrong with choosing something based on what feels comfortable and fulfilling to you.
It depends on the job, but it seems that work becomes a calling when you enjoy being thanked, making people happy, or feeling needed. And because you’re earning money too, you keep at it instead of quitting. On the other hand, even if a job pays well, you’ll quit if it’s hard to see that kind of fulfillment or if it doesn’t suit you, lol.
Putting up with things in papa-katsu just because of the money sounds painful too, lol.
If you decide to only see people you feel comfortable with, and choose people with whom the relationship is enjoyable and mutually appreciative, wouldn’t the money come in and the arrangement continue as well? I don’t know though, lol.
Personally, even if I had more money than I could ever spend, I’d still keep working. I like creating things, and I guess I enjoy connecting with people through that. Well, I’m also in a situation where I need to keep working for the money, lol.

To the person asking: start with a convenience store job. Since convenience stores are open 24/7, they should be relatively easy to get into. You’re already 25, so I really want you to find a proper job—for your future, so you can live independently.
Start by gradually switching from night work to daytime work. Games may be fun right now, but that won’t last. Beyond that lies a cliff. I’m saying this for your sake, so please try your best first.
