Lately, my personal feeling has been, “You vulgar perverts! I’m following you!” How is everyone doing? Personally, as someone who favors mutually agreed-upon unprotected encounters—in secret—I’ve been quietly working on my strategy of starting with protection at the first meeting, then proposing a regular arrangement without it. Sorry for the long preamble. Here’s my question: Regardless of gender, roughly what percentage of people undergo a Partners Check or some other STI screening? Please share any figures you have or estimates of the likely percentage. (Everyone obviously gets tested before having those all-night discussions, right? They must. I really hope so…) Rather than just putting on a token show of concern, please consider offering benefits to those who get tested or running a company-sponsored campaign. Also, for reference, I’d like to know about the testing rate among Universe staff, as well as any staff members bragging about their testing experiences.
