Maezawa from the President’s Office will answer this one too.
I mentioned this briefly a little while ago, but we occasionally get questions like:
“I’m worried I’ll be screened out because of my height and weight. Do you think I’ll pass?”
So we figured that even more people might be anxious about this, and decided to create some standards based on height, weight, and bust size. However, when I checked, it seems that the project hasn’t moved forward yet.
That said, there’s already a basic standard—the acceptance criteria posted on a certain website—so let’s use that as a reference and consider whether someone would pass under those criteria.
The maximum weight listed for someone who is 155 cm tall was 55 kg, while for someone who is 160 cm tall, it was 57 kg.
So if you lost another 2 kg and got down to 56 kg, it seems you would fall within the acceptance criteria.
I imagine Universe uses this as a foundation, then takes bust size into account, makes some fine adjustments, and considers other factors as well.
Still, I have to say, these basic acceptance criteria are surprisingly well thought out.
With the height and weight given by the questioner, you would technically fall outside the criteria. However, at Universe, bust size can also earn bonus points, so even being 2 kg over the limit might still be acceptable if you’re a G cup.
So, with your current height and weight, I think you’d pass as long as your bust size is at least a G cup and you’re not unpleasant as a person.
And not only would you pass—I also feel like you’d receive a decent number of offers.

Let’s lose another 10 kilos.
Shigeki Kanamori’s diet method seems promising. It looks like it could help not only with weight loss but also with your mental well-being. You’ll lose weight quickly, so please give it a try.
☆Seattle, don’t try it—you’ll go crazy and die(笑).

I’d say I’m slightly on the heavier side, but not fat. Judging by my height and weight alone, I believe I’m well within the acceptable range.

Unfortunately, I’d say you’re quite plump. Many men dislike a protruding stomach, so you’ll probably have an easier time getting accepted after losing some weight.
My body is almost the same as yours, but at around 42 kg, I’m fairly slim. I have a small bust and narrow waist, so I personally think my proportions are balanced—but I do wish I had gravure-model-level breasts for my height, haha.
That said, everyone has different preferences. If you have a large bust, a job that men tend to like, or the skills to captivate a papa (a male supporter), I think you should go to the interview with confidence.

Your height and weight aren’t the reason you’d fail an interview. If you were rejected, it was likely due to something else.
Papa (male supporters) have their preferences too. If your features are attractive, your height and weight are within the range where even supporters who like curvier women—a minority, admittedly—might make you an offer.
If you lose a little more weight and reach the guideline of height minus 110, that would be 48 kg in your case. You’d have a healthy, attractive figure, and I think your chances of receiving more offers would increase.

Height and weight should be okay on a self-report basis, so I think you could say you weigh 55 kg and then get down to 55 kg before the first meeting.
By the way, there are tons of women who shave about 5 kg off their stated weight.
I dated a woman who was 155 cm tall and weighed somewhere in the high 50s, but her profile said 50 kg.
She was pretty much bursting out of her clothes when she undressed, but we kept things going for about four months.

There are plenty of people much more impressive than that. You won’t lose weight that way—it’s an issue of what’s on the inside.
The first person I made an offer to three years ago had pretty much that same body type.
P.S. I basically eat cake as my main food and skip breakfast and carbs as part of my diet. It sounds unhealthy, but I haven’t been sick once in about three years.

Going to an interview takes courage, doesn’t it? I felt the same way.
I don’t think anyone can really tell whether you’re overweight without meeting you in person. I also weigh more than I probably look.
Why not gather your courage and go to the interview?
Good luck!!
