I think Universe Club may be ready to start moving toward building a brand. Or perhaps launching a separate brand.
Something along the lines of:
- Universe Club: an accessible club that frequently runs discount campaigns
- A luxury club: no campaigns, but higher-quality encounters
When it comes to branding, would you say the same thing at a store that sells Louis Vuitton? Or at a Ferrari dealership?
You’d probably be met with something like, “I’m sorry, but if you’re looking for campaigns, perhaps you should try somewhere else?”

If you meet lots of women through the club and receive plenty of positive feedback, the club will introduce you to even more wonderful women, right?
I’ve been getting recommended so many amazing women that I’m happily overwhelmed.
I think it’s better to have a system where male members who receive lots of positive feedback benefit more than those who simply have more meetings—which is essentially how it works now.

I know I’m not a generous (well-paying) papa, but even I don’t worry about the setup fee. I believe it’s a basic rule of business: discounts are a foolish way to try to increase sales.

I’d be happy about the discount, but I’d also worry—and be suspicious—that the chances of finding a good match might be low. Plus, the image of it being full of people nobody wanted to choose doesn’t exactly sound appealing…
