If you don’t want to sell yourself cheap, the answer is simple: don’t accept low offers.
To do that, you need to be able to turn someone down when they try to lowball you. In other words, you need a stable source of income outside papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan).
At the same time, simply demanding a higher price won’t automatically attract buyers. You need to build up your own brand value.
That means your looks, conversational skills, thoughtfulness, ability to make someone feel special, and the negotiating skills to clearly say what you want.

I’m not sure what a stupid woman is, but to me, she’s someone who blindly and foolishly tells men everything, does whatever they say, and then complains about it later.
A smart woman is calculating. She controls her papa (a male supporter) through careful planning and meticulous calculation, makes him completely infatuated with her, and gets him to spend money on her.
I’m probably neither.
My name came up in Makeo’s answer, but while I live based on passion, I think Aya is a genius who’s capable of putting in the effort.

To succeed at papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan), you need the skills and personal qualities to do reasonably well even in a regular day job. Otherwise, you’ll become the equivalent of a consumer—or just a source of nutrients—in the working world, and end up being exploited nonstop.
Try Googling “basic skills for working professionals,” a concept promoted by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. People who have these skills are strong in papa-katsu, too.
The search results say that working adults—and, by extension, papa-katsu women—need qualities such as:
・Initiative
The ability to take the lead and actively engage in things.
・Influencing others
The ability to approach and involve other people. You encourage those around you and get them moving toward a common goal.
・Execution
The ability to set goals and carry them out reliably. It means setting your own objectives, taking action without being afraid of failure, and persevering.
These are only three of the twelve basic skills, but doesn’t it already feel like having these three would put you on the path to succeeding in papa-katsu? lol
A魅力 that draws others in through initiative, and the ability to follow through persistently on anything you take on. I think papas will see you as an attractive person, and they’ll be less likely to take you lightly.
Actually, don’t you think a woman with none of these qualities looks foolish even from a papa’s perspective, making him lose interest in dealing with her? She has no initiative, you can’t tell what she wants, she has no ability to influence or involve others, and she just seems aimless. There’s no way a woman like that can make money through papa-katsu.
So, question asker, try looking up those twelve basic skills and consciously work hard at your day job, study diligently, and make an effort to communicate well at your part-time job. It may feel like a roundabout approach, but girls without personal qualities are “just replaceable vessels.”
It’s easy to become a woman who is bought cheaply, used up, and discarded. But becoming a woman who is valued by her papa and treated as a person in a genuine, respectful way has limits if you rely only on superficial techniques.
To avoid ending up that way, build up what we might somewhat suspiciously call your “personal qualities.” Improving your appearance is important too, but I believe this is a world where you can’t earn unless you change your behavior to the same degree.

> What do men consider the traits of a stupid woman?
In my case, probably women who are overconfident…?
I know being overconfident and being stupid are two completely different things, but for some reason, that’s how they come across to me.
> Traits of a smart PJ
Unfortunately, I haven’t met one yet.

I’m Joe, and I’m thinking, “Just because it’s anonymous and free doesn’t mean you can ask absolutely anything!”
This time, though, Mac-san completely cleared up that frustration for me. Especially the final line: “I don’t actually know whether they’re really stupid or not.” That one was spot-on.
I hope the person who asked the question is involved in something that proves they’re not actually stupid.

Ah, this is no good. Anonymous Q&A sites really are addictive, aren’t they… Especially during my peak business season!
I’ll make this my last one.
The women whose allowances skyrocket and who get promoted to “ace” status are usually one of two types:
1. Women who can express their anger directly to their papa without fearing they’ll be dumped
2. Women who are either adorably hopeless or extraordinarily intelligent
My ace is a combination of 1 and 2—the adorably hopeless type.
People who can naturally show their emotions, like Maradona, really know how to capture someone’s heart.
That said, it’s a double-edged sword. If you lose your temper the wrong way, you’ll get cut loose, so especially with number 1, you need real talent.
The women who can’t become aces are the opposite of those two types.
I can’t tell what women who never show their emotions are thinking. I assume they’re probably just holding back, and then I feel bad, so I don’t try to develop them into aces.
Likewise, women who are only halfway hopeless or only halfway intelligent are easy to read psychologically, so they become candidates for being cut loose.
That was the case with my former ace, the celebrity.
She was intelligent, but only moderately so. I could see right through her psychologically, and eventually I got tired of it and cut her loose.
I’m truly sorry for mentioning her name without permission yet again, but I think you should take Aya, one of the female respondents, as a role model.
You should read through all of her past answers and study them. She’s a true professional.
I’ve also read all of Aya’s past answers and learned a lot from them. They can be applied by men, too.
She’s honestly amazing. Talent (anger) × effort. Her patience is incredible as well, so I imagine she must be very capable at work too.
I wonder if she’d consider helping with my work, haha.
Marika also seems like a genius at handling men, so why not become her apprentice?

I think women who cite their “youth” when explaining what makes them stand out are basically declaring that they have nothing else to offer. The same goes for women who immediately ask things like, “What are the characteristics of ~?” and try to come up with an easy answer by simply extracting traits. Both are giving up on thinking for themselves.
I think people who genuinely think things through on their own are smart.
Women who let themselves be held for cheap have to settle for an allowance lower than what they themselves want.
