I’ll answer this as Maezawa from the president’s office as well.
With a letter date, the club considers the arrangement complete once the two people have exchanged messages. In that sense, you could say it allows them to skip the first date.
However, I assume men make offers because they want to meet, and therefore still want to go on an actual date. So in that sense, you have to wonder: what exactly is being skipped?
Oh, do you mean skipping the meal?
I do get the impression that many people who choose a letter date invite the woman to a hotel right away. It also seems that many men want to negotiate the allowance before meeting in person.
In that sense, I’m not really sure what the benefit is for women. Still, I imagine some women may prefer going straight to a hotel and receiving their allowance because it saves time.
That way, they wouldn’t need to spend four hours together. Some might even prefer to wrap things up after just an hour.
If it’s only going to be an hour, that should probably be made clear in advance. But at that point, you can’t help wondering how it’s any different from an app or the sex industry.
Still, there may be people who prefer that kind of arrangement, so I suppose it does offer benefits to some.
Personally, though, if the app is mostly being used as a place to negotiate allowances, then it’s no longer really a dating club, and I feel it might be better to get rid of it.
If women keep turning it down, it will probably disappear eventually.
For women who are simply hoping to meet someone through a dating club, I feel there are very few benefits.

I’ve never had a good experience with letter dating.
The one advantage is that you can get a sense of what the man is really like. If he’s willing to send you LINE Pay while you’re messaging, then I think it can be worthwhile.

I’m a man in my 60s, still trying to find my way.
As I understand it, once a woman contacts a man who applied for a letter date, the club considers the arrangement complete. After that, it’s up to the two people to decide how they proceed.
So I’m not quite sure what you mean by “omitting” something.
If you’re referring to the club’s instruction to give her an amount equivalent to transportation expenses, then yes, that can’t be omitted.
On the other hand, if both people understand that payment as an established rule, have exchanged enough messages with a Type B woman, and meet for the first time already without hesitation about moving toward an adult relationship (intimate), then I suppose you could say it may be omitted.
There is a first-meeting allowance rule, but I understand that we’ve already entered into a private arrangement.
The advantage for the women is probably that they receive more offers. I’ve been completely taken in by it(笑)
P.S.
The woman I’ve been doing letter dates with for over a year is a very unusual case: our missed connections involving offers and unsolicited offers from before the letter-date idea began were finally resolved through the letter dates. So please don’t worry.

You can’t skip the first date.
With Type B women, they usually don’t go to a hotel on the first date.
I’ve also had a woman abruptly cancel after we’d arranged a first date. Luckily, I was able to call another ongoing partner, so I didn’t have to pay the cancellation fee…
For women who live far away, I generally arrange a letter date. I think communicating beforehand benefits both sides, since it lets you get a sense of what the other person is like before meeting.
If you don’t feel there’s any benefit to a letter date, I think you can simply decline it. Just keep in mind that this will mean fewer offers—and fewer chances to meet someone.

One advantage is that you can receive offers from men who live far away, right?
Some male members may also tell you the allowance during the letter-dating stage, and women can carefully choose their words to find out the allowance as well.
So, if you’re choosing a papa mainly based on the allowance, letter dating may have its advantages.
But it’s not all benefits for men.
In fact, I’ve heard that the odds of succeeding with letter dating—that is, the chances of getting a first date with a woman—are surprisingly high.

The setup fee is certainly low, but can the first date be skipped?
From the woman’s perspective, I think the advantages are that she can receive more potential offers and get at least some idea of what kind of man he is before meeting him, allowing her to decide whether she wants to meet.
