I’d like my papa (a male supporter) to help cover the cost of hair removal, but would saying, “Hair removal is so expensive…” be too obvious? How can I get his help without making it sound so direct?

I’m Aya, a female member. You should definitely avoid doing that. I once had a pay-per-meeting papa (a male supporter) complain that another girl had asked him to pay ¥200,000 for her hair removal, saying he’d dropped her because of it. Apparently, from a man’s perspective, it’s more like, “Hair removal?! Why should I care?” So, considering the risk of being cut off, I wouldn’t ask.

I’m Nana Ayase ♡ If you steer the conversation in the right direction, I think he’ll pick up on it. If he doesn’t, maybe he’s reluctant to pay that amount—or he’s just a little slow on the uptake.

I’m Paper Airplane, a male member. If you’re just meeting normally, wouldn’t he be able to pay within that range? You should probably let him know that you got hair removal done. I once foolishly went along to a hair-removal consultation with someone I was dating (we broke up…). The female staff member kept saying things like, “I want to look beautiful for him…”—all these flattering things. Maybe it’s not so bad to keep being fooled?? There were other things too… I was such an idiot…

I’ll answer as Maezawa from the CEO’s office. Unless she’s that obvious, men won’t notice. The issue is simply that men dislike women who openly say they want him to pay. So even if she’s being obvious, I think men prefer women who don’t actually say it outright. Also, since she hasn’t directly asked him to pay, if he feels it would be difficult to offer, he can pretend not to notice by saying something like: “Yeah, it’s expensive, isn’t it? Women have it tough.” That might be the best approach, too.

I’m a male member and a total loser. Maybe I should meet papas while I’m still all hairy. One of the women I keep on the side has an absolutely stunning face, but she was completely untrimmed down there, so I gave her some extra money for medical hair removal and said: “You’re such a breathtaking beauty—this just won’t do.”

I’m Kazu, a male member. If your papa seems bothered by your pubic hair, I think it’s relatively low-risk to bring it up and casually mention that you’d like some money for hair removal. Otherwise, I think it’s best to save up from your allowance.
