There’s no one right answer. It’s a gamble, in a sense. That’s what life is—a series of choices like that.
You can do whatever you want, but don’t look back and regret things too much. It’s a waste of time.
P.S. I don’t think the questioner’s current approach is bad either. There’s nothing wrong with making money efficiently through papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) and saving it. What you’re missing is the realization that, since this is your own life and there’s no single right answer, talking to other people won’t solve it for you.
