Do dentists choose their partners based on things like their teeth alignment?!⁉︎

I’m Papiko, a female member. I’m attending dental hygienist school, so teeth are always the first thing I notice. I can’t stand people with crooked teeth. That’s why dentists probably have the same occupational habit of immediately looking at people’s teeth. I’m not a dentist—I’m training to be a dental hygienist—but if I were to date someone, I couldn’t do it unless they had a nice, straight smile, no matter how handsome they were.

When she mentioned that she had braces, he said he preferred that to leaving crooked teeth untreated. So, if you’re concerned about your teeth, orthodontic treatment may be worth considering.

I’m a male member named Kazu. I’m not a dentist, but sometimes, during the meal on a first date, I notice that a woman has crooked teeth. I don’t think dentists necessarily pay attention to dental alignment when making an offer just because they’re dentists. I’m not a cosmetic surgeon either, but I don’t think they would necessarily be that concerned about it. That said, given their profession, they might be good at telling whether someone has had cosmetic surgery. Hairdressers probably notice the condition of someone’s hair more easily because of their work, but nails and makeup aren’t really their specialty. As for me, I’m an executive in an industry where knowledge workers are employed. I get irritated when I’m talking to someone who comes across as dumb, so I don’t particularly like that type. However, among fellow company owners I know, some prefer women who seem a little ditzy. They say it’s relaxing because they don’t have to think too hard. So, it seems that a person’s industry and their preferences in women don’t necessarily go hand in hand.
