What would be the smartest way to grow the allowance I receive from male members? Stocks? Mutual funds? Or should I invest in myself, get more offers, and find a generous (well-paying) papa (a male supporter)?

I’m Taro, a male member. When it comes to investing, I believe you can steadily grow your assets by consistently using dollar-cost averaging and investing in index funds. The gap widens over time, so the earlier you start, the better. But investing in yourself is even better than investing your money. I don’t mean investing in your appearance through plastic surgery or beauty treatments. No matter how much you do, you can’t beat age. There’s nothing wrong with doing those things as part of self-care, but making them your main focus is just wasting money on a losing battle. The important thing is to think about who you want to be 10 or 20 years from now. If you do that, you should realize that what you need to invest in is your inner self. Aim to be “a great woman in her 40s.” That doesn’t necessarily mean getting qualifications—it could also include having stimulating experiences, like traveling around the world.

I’m Aya, a female member. I grow my money through investing, though of course it can go down as well. During the COVID crash, my assets fell by about 30%, which was quite a shock. If you can withstand fluctuations like that, I recommend investing in stocks.

Maezawa from the president’s office here. I think most people lose money at first when they start investing in stocks. Then, frustrated by those losses, they study hard and gradually learn how to make profitable trades. That’s probably how it goes, but it may be difficult to become consistently profitable—and some people may never manage it. What’s wise depends on the individual. For now, I’d suggest studying the basics and trying paper trading to see whether you can make a profit. Even if you can make money in a simulation, though, real-life stock trading involves emotions, so things probably won’t go as smoothly.

I’m Chikuwa, a male member. If you’re paying your taxes, that’s fine—but if not, depositing money into a bank or brokerage account could bring the tax office knocking... Their usual tactic is to let things slide for several years, then hit you all at once with late fees and penalties covering those years. A little cosmetic surgery might be a good investment in yourself if you plan to continue papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan). Just don’t overdo it.

I’m Kazu, a male member. Stocks and mutual funds don’t necessarily increase your money. I think the best approach is to try different things. Diversification is the basic principle.
