Nana Ayase, a female member, will answer. I don’t think being a single mother has anything to do with it. In fact, you may even receive more offers than married women. When a gentleman makes an offer to a married woman, there’s always the concern that an affair could be exposed, but… The upside is that you’re single, so please feel free to go to the interview with peace of mind. The club also has rental dresses available.

I’m a male member, Paper Airplane. Given your age, and based on your past experiences, I imagine you’re considered fairly—perhaps even very—popular with men. There’s no reason to turn down someone who has the potential to be popular. That said, no one can know for sure whether you’ll actually be in demand. It’s also true that there is strong demand from men who are 20–30 years older. As for being a single mother, it may not be as much of a disadvantage as it would be for a younger single mother, since your children are probably older by now.

Maezawa from the president’s office here—I’ll answer this one too. Whether you’re a single mother or not doesn’t matter. Being 42 doesn’t matter either. The deciding factor is whether, when you come in for an interview, our staff feel that men are likely to make you offers. Some women in their 20s don’t pass the interview, so please come in and see us first. The other day, a woman came in just to hear what we had to say at the interview. I got the feeling she was really hoping the staff would give her a little push, but we sent her home with something like: “Go home, take your time thinking it over, and come back once you’ve decided what you want to do.” I was a little worried that she might have misunderstood, but sending her home doesn’t mean she can’t register. It simply means that if you’re unsure, it’s better to take your time and think it through. Personally, though, I’d probably say, “Since you’ve come all this way, why not try registering? You won’t know until you meet a man at least once.” （笑）That’s just the kind of thing I’d end up saying. So it’s perfectly fine to come in just to hear more. Go ahead and apply for an interview first.
