To be safe in case anything happens, it’s probably best not to enter into that kind of relationship with someone whose real name, address, workplace, and other basic details you don’t know.

Are you seriously that naive? Of course it’s a bad idea. All she said was that she wanted to do it without protection. She never said a word about taking responsibility, did she?
The worst thing you can do is lower your guard based on a convenient interpretation. You should always act while considering the worst-case scenario. In other words, even if the other person says, “I’ll take responsibility,” you can’t trust them. Either have a Plan B that leaves you with some recourse if they disappear, or steel yourself to pay for an abortion yourself—or raise the child and leave it to fate. Those are your choices. If nothing happens after all that, then you can simply say, “Well, that’s a relief.”
People who have no sense of risk, and those who can’t fight back when things go wrong, shouldn’t leave the greenhouse. You can find fun and happiness through a dating club without taking risks like that.
