When two women who each run their own businesses went to a matchmaking bar to attract customers,
the men there also handed them business cards for their own businesses, clearly there for promotional purposes.
Some men were just killing time until the first train in the morning.
Early on, there can be nearly 100 more women there just for a free meal. With hardly any men around, they simply focus on eating in silence…
Eventually, the men see how many women there are and start pouring in.
That’s what I’ve heard from people who went but came away with nothing. This is Paper Airplane. (It wasn’t a dating café, but this was a report from a matchmaking bar.)

I’ve only been there once, with my broker and one other person.
Is it a place where regular women go mainly for dinner dates? Maybe they don’t want to be bothered while they’re eating.

I’ve never used one myself, but I do think dating cafés have far more young, good-looking people than dating clubs—both men and women have plenty to choose from.
By comparison, dating clubs tend to have more men who are pretty demanding when it comes to looks and similar things. That said, I think the way women are treated there—the hospitality and allowances—is better at dating clubs.
