Universe Tokyo, Mamiya here.
A search for Fukui on our members’ site brought up just under 10 women.
There are 4 Standard, 5 Gold, and 1 Platinum member, so there aren’t that many in Fukui itself. However, we may be able to introduce women from nearby areas who are available to meet in Fukui.
Thank you for your consideration.

I’m Kazu, a male member from a regional area.
Since there was an answer mentioning long-distance dates, I thought I’d share my perspective as a male member on dating women from other prefectures.
I used to wonder whether women from far away would really go out of their way to come, but surprisingly, quite a few do.
For women who live far away, I make offers for online dates. After we’ve gotten to know each other reasonably well online, exchanged contact information, and stayed in touch, some women actually say, “I’d be willing to come to you.” I checked just now, and in three out of six cases, the women brought it up themselves.
In those cases, I pay the agreed allowance, plus a bonus allowance based on the time required for travel, as well as the actual transportation cost, rounded up to the nearest ¥10,000. So far, no one has asked me to pay the transportation costs in advance. It’s a risk for the women, yet they’ve all been remarkably proactive, which I really appreciate.
There are also women who are willing to meet anywhere in Japan. I’ve made an offer to one of them asking whether she could come for a first meeting, since I believe online dates weren’t available in her case. This only happened once, but she did come. And despite heavy rain causing delays to public transportation, she arrived right on time! I was impressed. She’s young, but somehow has better professional manners than I do.
At the club, the standard transportation allowance for a two-hour meal on a first meeting is ¥5,000 to ¥10,000. In this case, it took about two hours each way from where she lived to where I was. I usually give ¥10,000 as transportation money for a first meeting, so I simply tripled it. Two hours to get there, two hours for the meal, and two hours to get home. Of course, I also covered the actual transportation costs at the regular fare.
When I made the offer, I wrote: “In addition to the standard transportation allowance, I will provide an additional amount based on the time required for travel, as well as the equivalent of the actual transportation costs.” Traveling to a distant location is a gamble for the woman too, so I think it’s best to anticipate her concerns and minimize them as much as possible.
One last thing:
The amount you give a woman who has traveled a long way to meet you will naturally be substantial, but you shouldn’t get annoyed if she turns down a room date. You may have given her more than you would have given someone locally, but she also took the time to travel and meet someone she had never met before.
I think generosity is one of the biggest factors that makes a male member attractive. Also, don’t be stingy about the smaller expenses when you’re out together. Anonymous question boxes sometimes have discussions about amounts like ¥5,000 or ¥10,000, but if you’re worrying about sums like that, I think it will be difficult to get what you want from a dating club.

Thank you for considering joining us.
Am I correct in understanding that you would like to go on dates in Fukui Prefecture?
There are currently six women actively registered who live in Fukui Prefecture, although one of them is not available for dates within Fukui. We also have many women who don’t live in Fukui but are available to date anywhere in Japan, so if you write “I’d like to date in Fukui Prefecture” when making an offer, we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
*If the woman needs to travel a considerable distance by bullet train or other means, it will be treated as a long-distance date. In that case, you will be responsible for the actual round-trip travel expenses in addition to the usual transportation allowance of ¥5,000–¥10,000.
As we don’t have a branch in Fukui Prefecture, the process would normally begin with an in-person consultation at our nearest branch, in Kyoto. We also offer online video consultations, so please feel free to contact the branch.
