As part of the club’s operations, we’ve added a template to the date-offer messages sent by both male and female members asking anyone with a history of overseas travel to disclose it. So this applies to both men and women. The important point is that this is based on self-reporting. That said, participating in a dating club is, fundamentally, about managing risk. The safest option would be not to go on dates, not meet anyone, never leave your room, be careful even when breathing, and avoid anything other people have touched. But that would be pretty dull, so— We’re trying to enjoy life by deciding what level of risk is acceptable and not going beyond it. We arrived at this particular guideline through trial and error.
