Sorry for the very belated response!
I’m Mamiya, the person in question. As soon as I saw this post, I immediately went in and edited only my comment.
I feel truly guilty that this wasn’t the most sincere way to handle things.
I do steer women toward certain dating types during my personal interviews! (Gasp—major confession.)
I suppose it’s probably my own unorthodox approach, but what I want to see is a glimpse of a woman’s desires.
For example:
“I’ll get more offers if I choose Type C, right?”
→ “Actually, I’m nervous, so I won’t let myself be steered.”
→ “If you put it that way, maybe I’ll give it a try♪ I can always turn it down later♪”
In this particular interview, she had chosen the former, so I intentionally used it as part of her appeal. Rather than simply saying, “I’m a Type A,” I also wanted her to stand out to male members, which is why I added that comment.
I think the type male members are concerned about is the latter. If she responds that way, of course I’ll ask further questions to encourage her.
That was my very Mamiya-style interview—something I can’t exactly teach to newcomers. Sorry.
