If he consistently replies, even if it takes almost a full day, I think he’s sufficiently interested in you.
As other respondents have mentioned, it may simply be his communication style. Also:
● Since you met through a dating club, he may be deliberately waiting a day before replying because he thinks women might dislike receiving immediate daily replies, unlike in a normal romantic relationship. He may actually want to respond right away, but is intentionally leaving a day in between.
↑ I’m this type. Once I get to know someone and realize that messaging her every day won’t bother her, I naturally start replying promptly every day.
● He may be taking his time to carefully consider what wording to use before sending a message.
Either way, I don’t think this is a bad relationship, so I hope you continue building a wonderful arrangement together.

I think that man probably feels the same way.
If he comes back after taking a day off each time, I’d say you’re definitely building a connection.
It’s not that he isn’t interested—he may simply want to take his time and enjoy things at a relaxed pace.
Or perhaps he’s deliberately holding himself back from getting too caught up, so he doesn’t end up becoming a stalker.

I suppose that’s just his way of approaching things.
If he loses interest, the gaps between messages will probably get longer and it may eventually fade out. But as long as he keeps reaching out regularly, I think it’s fine.
I might prefer someone a little more attentive, though. Hehe ♪
