Does Universe really not tell you whether the women registered with them are single or married?!

I’m Meg, a female member. I’m in my 40s, married, and have children. During the interview, the staff asked me in detail whether I was married, divorced, or in the middle of divorce mediation, as well as how many children I have. I had always assumed that my married status would be shown on my profile! Guess I was wrong. ( ﾟдﾟ)ﾎﾟｶｰﾝ

I’m a male member who goes by “Paper Airplane.” Once the introduction has been arranged, what happens afterward is up to the individuals involved. Whether someone is married or single, what they do for a living, and other details that may change—or that the club has no way of verifying as true or false—don’t seem to be the club’s concern. Just like using an alias, people are free to say whatever they want, even if it isn’t true. (Keeping your occupation private might lead to a wonderful connection, while the opposite could also happen.) I believe things like height, weight, smoking status, and tattoos are considered basic information needed when making an offer. The club also seems to want to take responsibility for providing accurate information.
