Can anyone become an answerer simply by volunteering? Why are people who struggle with Japanese serving as answerers? Even though their language skills are so poor that they can’t properly understand the questions, why did they volunteer to become answerers—and why would anyone hire such people? I honestly don’t understand. They take things the questioner never said and, through the answerer’s misleading interpretation, make it seem as though the questioner said them. It’s frustrating. Wouldn’t it be better to give applicants an advanced Japanese language test and only hire those who pass?

As I’ve mentioned many times, I graduated from a high school that wasn’t exactly known for its high academic standards. Some time ago, a university student from a school that also wasn’t particularly academically prestigious asked a question here about applying to work at Universe. I really liked the wording “not particularly academically prestigious,” especially since it applied to me too, so I’ve been using it a lot ever since. What I wanted to say was: “Your academic standing reflects your ability right now. If you work hard from this point on, it can change. You can even make it as far as becoming a low-income person in the dating-club world.” Now, regarding “language skills so poor that you can’t even properly understand the question,” I’m trying my best to understand what you mean. Sorry I couldn’t understand it… “There is another possible approach: give university-level Japanese-language tests to those who volunteer to be answerers, and only accept those who pass.” I can certainly see that point of view too. In my case, I did graduate from university. It was a school that was neither particularly prestigious nor particularly low-ranked（笑） There wasn’t a Japanese-language section on my university entrance exam, but Japanese was neither my strong suit nor my weak point（笑） After reading my answers, if you feel, as everyone says, that “this answer completely misses the point,” I’d appreciate it if you would simply skip it.
