I’ve been away from the scene for a while, so I’d appreciate hearing from the more experienced gentlemen about how things are these days. I went through a few rounds of papa-katsu before COVID and then stepped away, only renewing my Universe membership. After various club activities, I’ve finally returned to the scene and arranged a meeting for the first time in ages. I’m planning to focus mainly on women in their late 20s and up, around the BC range, and I’m excited to see if I can meet someone I can continue seeing—previously, that happened about once in every 10–15 women. I’ve already come across some familiar faces and was surprised by how much hotel prices have gone up lately… Compared with a few years ago, have the etiquette, allowances, or anything else about papa-katsu changed? I’d appreciate any updates from those of you who’ve been active recently.

For me, it’s how difficult it is to get introductions arranged and move on to an arrangement. Even when I arrange a first meeting after a long break, things either don’t go anywhere or I end up being played, so it’s been pretty tough. It feels like it gets harder as you get older. Compared with when I first started using the dating club, things are much more difficult now. Though, to be honest, it was pretty hard to get anything arranged in the beginning too（笑）

Work has been so enjoyable that my motivation was practically nonexistent, but I forced myself to make an offer to a Platinum Premium woman. I’m planning to give her an allowance of ¥100,000. As a matter of etiquette, if you do a letter date, you should give the woman the money you saved. With a Black-class woman, you save ¥55,000 on a letter date, so she’ll be happy if you give her a little extra and say, “I’m giving you more since I saved on the letter date fee.”
