I also get the impression that more of the registered women are older than they used to be.
Well, some male members who were just barely “older gentlemen” before seem to have stuck around and are now grandfathers.
And just like me, I imagine there are quite a few male members who make offers but have a hard time getting matched. So maybe they’re also recruiting women in age ranges likely to match with older male members? Just a thought（笑）
There could be various reasons, but when it comes to dating clubs, it might be a bit difficult. Why not treat the dating club as a long shot and use it alongside apps and other services?

If you’re attractive, there’ll probably be steady demand regardless of your age or whether you’re curvy.
On the papa’s side, even a short, overweight, balding older man would surely be in high demand among women if he could offer an allowance of 200,000 yen per pay-per-meeting.

It sounds like there’s no upper age limit on matching apps, so you should be able to register. However, I’ve heard that younger women have an advantage on those apps.
With a dating club, around half of the men don’t want someone who’s too young, so factors other than youth become more important. That said, women around their 30s are still preferred.
Women in their 40s do receive offers, but at that age, it’s difficult for an average woman to get one. Usually, only a small number of women receive offers.
So if the question is whether there’s demand, I’d say yes—some women do receive offers. However, if “curvy” means overweight, I feel it would be difficult at Universe. Even younger women who are on the heavier side may be rejected at the interview, so the issue may be more than just age.
Also, demand from other people and demand specifically for you are two different things. Ultimately, I think you won’t know until you actually register.
