I’ve never used a dating club or a papa-katsu app before. Is there any demand for women in their 40s in this world?
For safety reasons, I’d prefer to register with a dating club if possible, but is it likely that I’d fail the interview simply because I’m in my 40s? I live in a rural area.
There is demand for certain women in their 40s.
The women who are in demand and the person asking this question are two different people. So whether the questioner is in demand is completely irrelevant.
If a woman in her 40s fails the interview, she’s simply landing on the safer side of things, so isn’t that a good thing?
You won’t know unless you take the plunge yourself, right? Are you saying you’ll try it if the success rate is high, but not if it’s low?
Even with a high success rate, things can still fail, and even with a low one, they can still work out. If you’re in your 40s and still don’t understand that, we may not be operating on the same level.

Even if the likelihood of failing were low, you might still be rejected. Conversely, even if the likelihood were high, you might still be accepted.
In the end, it’s less about how things have gone for others and more about whether you personally are appealing.
If you’re attractive, you can still register in your 40s and receive offers.
That said, speaking generally, women in their 30s can still receive offers fairly normally, but once you reach your 40s, it seems to become difficult unless you’re particularly attractive.
Still, that’s only a generalization based on other people’s experiences. You won’t know how things will go for you until you actually apply.

I don’t think anyone who asks about your needs is worth dealing with, and I’m not sure whether anyone would want to date you based solely on your age.
“Rural area” can mean a lot of different things, so it’s hard to say based on that alone.
Even if you don’t pass the interview or receive any offers, it’s not like anything terrible will happen. You might as well try going to the interview.
