If you don’t have nine figures in cash, I’d advise against taking pride in being a mistress. Of course, it’s not too late to start now. Worry about marriage or retirement after you’ve built up nine figures in cash.

Do you really think that papa will genuinely love you for the rest of your life?
It’s essentially like cheating while still having a wife he claims to love. Even if he remarried you, I don’t think someone who has tasted the sweet benefits of having a mistress could change that easily. Could you truly accept and tolerate that?
And I don’t really like to say this, but…
He may not know that you’ve been involved with more than 1,000 men, but I would have reservations about taking in someone who can hardly be said to have maintained her chastity.
Besides, you’re still young. Now that you know papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) is a way to make money, isn’t there also a possibility that you’ll go back to it out of a desire for money?

You can’t exactly list that kind of work on a résumé when applying for a job or changing careers, can you? It’s more like a dark chapter—or rather, a blank chapter in your history.
Personally, I think someone unemployed who calls ¥200,000 a month “a small amount” has some serious issues.
That said, people can change at any age.
Try telling him seriously:
“I’m quitting papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) because I like you. I’ve also found a daytime job, so from now on, I’d like to see you in a relationship that isn’t papa-katsu. I really do like you.”
And don’t let things become intimate for a while. If your papa (a male supporter) starts pursuing you more seriously, I personally think there may be a chance.

If you can get a papa you like to divorce his wife and marry you, you’ve won.
If you can’t, then he’s just a temporary stepping stone.
Even if you can’t marry your papa, I’d still call it a success if you manage to save around ¥100 million.
But if you stay single with no savings and no job, you’re in serious trouble.

What exactly are you trying to bridge the gap between?
I’m not sure what kind of advice you’re looking for, but for now, I think you should look for work that can support you financially besides being a mistress.
