I used to be registered with a club, but I withdrew because work got busy.

As long as your looks are above a certain level and your profile photo makes an impact, I don’t think it’s much of a disadvantage. As Dai mentioned, you may get fewer offers from papas who prefer women with no prior experience, though… Most of the women who have continued with me long-term as monthly arrangements are people who re-register. When I see a comment like: “I re-registered because I parted ways with the papa I had been seeing,” I feel reassured that she understands papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) and has a proven track record of maintaining an arrangement with her previous papa for some time. If she also has positive ratings, or the club staff has included a recommendation in her profile comments, I’ll make her an offer. The woman I’ve had the longest monthly arrangement with has both a great appearance and attitude, so she tends to repeat this cycle: ・She gets lots of offers when her profile is posted ・She finds several monthly papas after being listed for a few months ・She pauses her account or leaves the club ・After some time, she parts ways with some of them and has fewer monthly papas ・She re-registers and is listed again for just a few months I think it’s quite efficient since she only has to keep her profile visible for short periods.

Would you consider coming in to re-register? Although you can’t register as a new member, those who re-register have a track record that new members don’t. I believe that’s an advantage, since there’s less uncertainty about whether everything will be okay. I hope you’ll give it some thought. Takeaki Dan

There’s no particular downside, but since you’re no longer “new,” you’ll stop getting offers from men who are only interested in first-timers. Because of that, it does seem like the number of offers may decrease. Being moved down a class isn’t necessarily all negative. I’m Gold now too, though I used to be Black. When it’s time to renew, I’m thinking about moving back up to Platinum. So thinking that Gold means the men are lower quality is simply an unfounded assumption. It may help to think of the club lowering your class as a way to increase the number of offers you receive.

I heard from a staff member recently that having a good track record in these arrangements can help you get accepted. I was also told recently that even I could register again, so as long as you didn’t leave on bad terms, you can re-register. Also, why does everyone call it a “rank”? It’s a “class.”

The drawbacks are that your membership date will be shown as the date you originally joined, and your profile will indicate that you’ve re-registered. It won’t show you as a new member. Aside from that, it depends on the individual.
