This is Mamiya from UNIVERSE LOUNGE.
At UNIVERSE LOUNGE, most members register on the member site without showing their face, so we hope you’ll consider joining us!
After your interview, you can speak with a male member for 20 minutes and then leave, so we should be able to introduce you to someone very quickly!

Registration without showing your face—what we call a secret registration—is also possible.
If you work in a profession where you’re recognizable in public, the staff can explain to potential supporters that you can’t show your face because of your occupation, without going into specific details. That should make it easier for them to approach you, so I think you’ll still receive some offers.
That said, compared with showing your face, the number of men the staff can actively approach will be overwhelmingly smaller. For example, even if the staff contacted 200 men, your profile might only be presented to about 1/20 of them, so your chances of receiving an offer would probably drop to around 1/20 as well. (In reality, this needs to be calculated based on men living in your area, so the decrease may not be quite that significant.)
Another concern is what to do if a man asks to see your photo before deciding whether to make an offer. Would you be comfortable showing it to him individually?
Most women choose the option that allows their photo to be shown to men who are considering making an offer.
If that isn’t possible either, even fewer men will be willing to make an offer without seeing any photo at all.
How you handle this is entirely up to you, so it really comes down to how you want to deal with receiving fewer offers and how far you want to go without showing your photo.
You can also register with a blurred photo. In that case, men can view the blurred photo normally, so you’re more likely to receive offers from a wider range of men than with a secret registration.
You can also choose whether to show a clear photo to men you’re interested in meeting, so that’s another decision you’ll need to make.

It’s possible, but you’ll definitely receive fewer offers.
I think it’s best to assume that most offers will come only during the initial period after you register.
Also, even among women whose photos are blurred, there are two types: those whose clear photos men can view if they inquire, and those who won’t show clear photos even after an inquiry.

I kept my profile photo private and stayed discreet too, but I still received offers, so you should be fine.

Universe can create profiles with the face blurred.
If a man says he’d like to see the woman’s face, the staff will apparently remove the blur and show it to him.
Even without seeing the face, some men may still make an offer based on the overall impression they get from the blur, but…
I think you’ll receive fewer offers.
If even that isn’t possible, please have an interview at SALON, where Rin-san is available.

I don’t know how old you are, but nearly half of the women registered are in their early 20s. At that age, if your face isn’t visible, the competition is likely to be quite tough—there’s no real reason for someone to choose a blurred-out profile.
Once you’re in your late 20s or 30s, though, you may not need to show your face, and in some cases, keeping it hidden could actually improve your chances.

I’m Rin, a female member of SALON.
I’m not sure about Universe Club’s options for blurred photos or no photos, but…
Because of my profession, I was also worried about showing my face, so I decided to join SALON as well. With SALON, your photos and profile aren’t posted online, so I feel I can participate with peace of mind.
The staff are all very kind, so why not at least talk to them and see what you think?

On Universe, my profile photos had my face blurred, while on other dating clubs, they only showed me from the neck down—but I still received quite a few offers.

It seems some services allow you to register without showing your face.
Whether you receive offers will vary from person to person, but apparently, you’re likely to get fewer compared with those who do show their faces.
If you live in the Kanto area and don’t want to show your face, registering with a salon might be worth considering. They don’t have profile pages here.
