I have a question for the male members regarding giving travel expenses in advance.

Do you give the travel expenses and the allowance separately? My understanding has always been that once things progress into an arrangement, the agreed amount includes travel expenses. If I give the travel expenses immediately after meeting, that would mean paying the woman’s requested allowance plus ¥10,000. Is that how it’s generally understood? Am I simply mistaken, or am I being stingy? I realize the answer could simply be, “It all comes down to what the two of you agree on,” but I wanted to ask because I’d like to know how everyone else interprets it.
