Whether it’s a salon or Universe, it isn’t an audition.
The staff want every man and woman who comes in to have a good encounter.
Especially when men are paying the salon’s high fees, the criteria need to allow for women with a wide range of preferences. Otherwise, they can’t provide good matches.
Even if they narrowed things down and selected only a few people, it would be pointless if there weren’t any women left to introduce.
Just like at Universe, I think most people who apply will get through, since they come in with the mindset that they’re there for an interview.
That’s where the staff’s skill comes in: choosing the right matches from among them, making both people happy, and getting that satisfying “I nailed it” feeling themselves.

If the standard is whether you can pass the screening, then The Salon must have higher requirements, so I think that’s impressive.
That said, even if you pass, there’s no point in joining if you don’t receive any offers in the first place—you won’t meet anyone. So while it’s impressive, I can’t really say much beyond that…

I think the salon is probably the most impressive, but if you’re looking for lots of offers, wouldn’t Universe’s Platinum tier be the better choice?
If you’re not going to get any offers, what’s the point of signing up?

They’re not really comparable.
The salon also has women registered who would be considered Platinum-level in Universe Club. But that doesn’t mean someone who qualifies as Black at Universe Club would automatically be accepted by the salon.
They’re part of the same group, but I see them as dating clubs with different concepts. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be any point in creating a separate one. I think that’s a fair way to look at it.
