Somehow, I’ve only had an STI test once in my life, and I suddenly started feeling anxious, so I came to a gynecologist.
Since it isn’t covered by insurance and can be expensive, I decided to get tested because I thought I’d feel more at ease if I did so regularly.
・If you get tested regularly from now on, how often do you all get tested?
・What would be a reasonable price for a clinic?
For gonorrhea, chlamydia, HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B and C, candidiasis, and trichomoniasis, including blood tests and everything else, it cost me ¥13,000. Is that about average?

I get tested regularly as well.
I’m not sure what the current situation is because of COVID, but I believe public health centers and similar facilities accept anonymous testing.
As an aside…
I have a bit of a hospital/medical fetish, so I study on my own—and I watch blood draws intently. Because of that, people sometimes assume I work in the medical field too (lol).

I also try not to meet anyone who’s seeing lots of other people. Since it’s a club, though, that may be difficult to avoid completely…

If you have a boyfriend, it’s probably best to get tested regularly, even if it costs money.
The worst thing would be passing something on to your boyfriend and having your activities discovered.
I currently get tested about once every six months, since I’m not as active these days. I also get tested before starting a relationship with a new woman.
As for the cost, it’s probably just under 10,000 yen at a clinic affiliated with the club.
By the way, I used to get free chlamydia and HIV tests at public health centers, but I think many of them have suspended those services because of COVID.

Even if I haven’t had an adult relationship that month, I still do it every month as part of my routine.
HIV and hepatitis tests are free at places like public health centers. (Though I think it probably depends on the city’s budget.)
A gynecological exam costs around ¥4,000 per visit. (No blood test included.)
