I don’t think it’s just about looks or figure. Maybe it’s whether you can have a good conversation during normal dates, and whether the adult relationship seems promising too?

I’m Hikoki, a male member.
I have a face that’s fairly well received by men, so:
In Kansai, if I’m interviewed by a male staff member, I’d be rated Platinum or Black.
If I’m interviewed by a female staff member, I’d be Gold (or Platinum).
In Kanto, if I’m interviewed by a male staff member, I’d be Platinum (or Black or Gold).
If I’m interviewed by a female staff member, I’d be Gold or Standard.

I’m Fuu, a column writer.
I was reminded of a female member I used to date who looked like Manatsu Akimoto. She was GOLD. I suppose it depends on the interviewer, but assuming she weren’t a celebrity, she’d surely be Platinum if she were actually Manatsu herself, right? I like that slightly calculated, subtly sexy vibe(笑). If she were Type C, I can imagine her becoming quite popular.
When it comes to classifying members, the answer would probably have to be “it depends on the interviewer’s judgment.” Everyone sees things differently.

It’s Seattle.
If she were a regular woman, Manatsu Akimoto would be Platinum.
For a current Nogizaka member, I think there are otaku who’d pay ¥10 million. I might go once as a final bucket-list experience. If it were Sakura Endo, even as a regular woman, she’d be Black Secret.

If I were interviewing her, I’d rate her as a B-type, Gold.

P.S. After reading Papuwa-chan’s answer, I realized that, regardless of someone’s title or status, I judge them based on their looks and age.
P.P.S.
Kamihikōki-san, women are stricter, aren’t they? I totally get it, haha.
