I do get approached, but I think it’s less about my looks and more about the fact that—whether that’s a good or bad thing—I seem approachable. It’s more about my overall vibe than my face.
Also, around last fall, I went to a few group dates with what you’d call high-status men. I don’t personally have connections with that type of guy; one of my friends does. It really helps to have a friend with lots of connections to the opposite sex.

I’ve never met a woman who chose a man based on his academic background. Maybe people who graduated from the University of Tokyo are incredibly popular.

Once things settle down after COVID, I think you could meet men by going to a country where your looks are popular and waiting for them to approach you.

I seem to have the kind of face foreigners like, so I often get hit on by foreign men.
But honestly, it’s not like you need to get hit on, lol.

Haven’t you ever seen girls who have boyfriends and thought, “I’m cuter than her”?
I don’t think men choose women based on looks alone, either.
Things that develop over time—like your manner, thoughtfulness, and intelligence—probably matter a lot too.
